ANNA MCLAUGHLIN

MediCare –Thorntons Pharmacy, Newcastle

Mind Your Mate and Yourself (MYMY) supports individuals, who are suicidal, in distress, or self harming by providing advice, information and appropriate services. The sessions educated women on how wider social factors impacted on their health and Anna empowered them with the skills to tackle these issues. Since many of the women were too nervous to sit in a room together, Anna held the sessions outdoors.
