McKeevers Chemists recently presented Cancer Fund for Children with a cheque for a massive £2000 donation following its recent in-store collections and donations. The money will go towards supporting rugby star, Rory Best’s Miles to Mayo Challenge.
‘This huge amount,’ said McKeevers owner, Paul McKeever, will go a long way to supporting children across Ireland cope with the impact of a cancer diagnosis.
‘We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone, who supported Rory on his walk, customers who donated in our stores and our staff in all of our branches. We couldn’t have done this without them and I’m sure Rory was delighted to see you all on his mammoth journey!’
