A new partnership between national pharmacy wholesaler, Bestway Medhub, and one of the country’s largest pharmacy buying groups, the Cambrian Alliance Group, is set to benefit hundreds of independent pharmacies throughout the UK.
The agreement sees Bestway Medhub become one of the group’s official supplier partners for generics, parallel imports, over-the-counter pharmacy products and dressings, resulting in significant potential savings for its members.
Launched in 2000, the Cambrian Alliance Group puts out to tender more than 6,000 items every month backed by a negotiating strength of more than £0.5 billion. Now with 1,200 members, the group represents one of the country’s largest independent pharmacy memberships.
Bestway Medhub (part of the Bestway Group) supported the Cambrian Alliance Group at its road shows earlier this year, training members in stoma and urinary awareness. Subsequently, the company exhibited at the Cambrian Alliance Group Convention this month, with the official partnership launching in July.
