According to the dictionary, workforce planning is a ‘continual process used to align the needs and priorities of an organisation with those of its workforce to ensure it can meet its legislative, regulatory, service and production requirements and organisational objectives’.

 

Those involved in the workforce planning for NI’s practice-based pharmacists (PBPs) have done a great job, with the first tranche of 100 now in post.
