As a socially responsible natural healthcare company, dedicated to making people’s lives not just healthier but happier, Nelsons is proud to sponsor Tusk in support of the conservation of rhinos.

To highlight the plight of rhino populations threatened by the illegal global poaching crisis and to raise funds to ensure their preservation, Tusk is launching a high profile sculpture trail in central London.
From August 20th, 21 specially decorated rhino sculptures will charge on to the streets of London and be displayed at a selection of iconic London sites including Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and Carnaby Street until 22nd September 2018 in celebration of World Rhino Day.
The Nelsons rhino is prominently situated in Marble Arch, a key London gateway with a footfall of up to 16 million tube passengers each year. Designed by groundbreaking London based husband and wife team, Rob and Nick Carter, the rhino is an uplifting riot of rainbow coloured spirals and will not fail to bring a smile to the face of everyone who sees it.
Patrick Wilson of Nelsons, commented, “Tusk does tremendous work in the field of poaching prevention and has programmes on the ground in many parts of Africa to support and nurture these magnificent creatures. It is a very challenging brief but they truly not only talk the talk, they walk the walk and Nelsons is delighted to support them in this exciting London rhino trail.”

All 21 strong rhino herd will then go to auction at Christies auction house in aid of Tusk on 9 October 2018. This high profile sale will be held the same week world leaders gather in London to attend an international conference to encourage governments to make commitments to end the illegal wildlife trade.
