Local charity, Hope 4 ME & Fibro Northern Ireland, have gathered a strong panel of international experts, who will address the challenges faced by medical professionals in treating Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) and fibromyalgia.

Experts from USA, Norway and UK, will explore how existing ideas on the disease aetiology of ME are now being scientifically challenged by new evidence, and further expose some significant flaws in the evidence currently underpinning NICE guidelines for ME. Research on new treatment possibilities, will also be explained.

This new information should lead to a complete turnaround on the way that ME is treated, and may lead to additional caution being applied to the advice for fibromyalgia.

As Northern Ireland has an estimated 7,000 ME and 23,000 fibromyalgia patients, this event should be seen as a priority for all those providing frontline medical care.

Conference awarded full (3) CPD points from the Royal College of Physicians, London.

We anticipate high demand, and so early booking is recommended. Please email the charity to request a link to our Eventbrite listing.  hope4mefibro@outlook.com
